There’s something about prints and colors that makes an image come alive. In the Spanish paintings below, Alejandra Atares Abad masters this technique through her series depicting views of women from behind, as they peer out into a landscape. A Fine Arts graduate, this Barcelona-based artist dresses her characters in vividly printed clothing and colorful hairdos.
Adding more color and vibrancy into Alejandra’s works are the breathtaking colorful landscape views of trees, flowers, abundant gardens, and flowing rivers. Alejandra is not one to be afraid of mixing colors and having fun with them as the image and colors greatly complement each other.
